Good morning aliens … lets believe the civilians will approach us today and ask us for a reason for the hope that lies within us. We must not initiate with them the conversation, but we must believe they will initiate it.

This is by faith, and not by works, and therefore taking control of ‘evangelistic situations” (which in deed we must not ‘create’ or ‘manufacture’. {Manufacturing evangelism is a work. When God The Holy Spirit is drawing an unregenerate human to God the Son, and when said unregenerate human actually begins to inquire about our hope and certainty of divine acceptance of us as people (because of the death of Christ for our sins (nature to sin), burial, and resurrection) our answer is the message of the gospel and yet it is NOT A WORK, but by faith.} is not God’s will for us. Instead of controlling situations(therefore manipulating situations) to ‘interest’ unregenerate unbelievers in God’s grace in grace, we should focus that mental/spiritual effort on sanctifying Christ as Lord in our hearts. We were saved by grace through faith apart from works, but we also live the entire Christian life by grace through faith without works.

‘But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh your reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1Peter 3:15 KJV)

And account that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written you; As also in all his epistles speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.
(2Peter 3:15-16)

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims (“aliens”, variable word added by me), abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
(1Peter 2:11-12 KJV (added variable by me))
